One of them, an MIT professor, stated that they were exactly the same thing.

When Obama gets up and thanks Romney for blazing a trail toward Obamacare, what is Mitt going to say?

If the election is being decided on the basis of Obama himself, I agree with Gerard, he is going to lose.

If the country seems to be doing well, on the road to a robust recovery by next Fall, Obama will have better chance.

If Romney had the rhetorical skills of a Chris Christie that would be one thing. As of now, he does not seem to be able to articulate the case for a radical change in the political agenda. Christie could have done it; I am not so sure that Romney can.

It may be that Romney is the best candidate... Hillyer was simply saying that he has many vulnerabilities that no one is paying attention to today.

I would also mention that Bobby Jindal, a very successful governor in his own right, and one of the brightest kids on the block, endorsed Rick Perry.

Perry will not be the nominee, but still, he could have run on a very good record of accomplishment in Texas.Stuart Schneidermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12784043736879991769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-23750849378988099292012-01-14T11:20:52.692-08:002012-01-14T11:20:52.692-08:00And what to make of the fact that Romney was stron...And what to make of the fact that Romney was strongly backed-early-by Chris Christie, who ought to know the best candidate when he sees him?Susannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-91468705284078286392012-01-14T11:10:35.797-08:002012-01-14T11:10:35.797-08:00"Romney just can't campaign against Obama..."Romney just can't campaign against Obama's single biggest vulnerability, Obamacare.
