But I'd expand that ...I'd agree to a point. But I'd expand that demographic to include the middle section. ND, Wyoming, SD, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Montana -- the 'fly over states'- are states having populations noted for their pragmatic independence. (Although I might qualify MT.... I'm not so sure they won't vote the now Populist Schweitzer into Baucus' Senate seat. )
What disturbs me in this article is his attitude towards North/ South perspective. Seems a tad divisive. It is even more amusing that they are think that more college degrees equals more intellectual prowess.
Education is a set of experiences and tools we learn that can be utilized to create or to destroy. Given the "Blue area" propensity for destruction of American societal norms and standards I would not be too proud of where all that education appears to be taking us as a country.
When one takes the time to ascertain where most of the disasters that have happened or are happening one see, in most cases, a graduate of a prestigious educational establishment in "blue areas." Where did Hillary Clinton, president Obama, et al graduate? Almost all are ideologues, not problem solvers.
The tendency to select applicants from these academic background only serves to stultify and inhibit real solutions to problems. It is one of the reasons "Common Core" education bothers me. It is just what we need to have?
Innovation, like that now occurring in other parts of the country, requires the ability to think outside the narrow box of "Blue area" think engendered by academic environments that are little more that propaganda institutions of the Left.
The "Blue areas" are a dying, decaying disaster serving only it own narrow ideology. Where are most of the cities that are heading into bankruptcy? There is not one thing that happens in these areas that would not be better accomplished some where else.Dennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14962996070458991675noreply@blogger.com
