At least your 2009 blog seems the only other google match. We define it as "hymen economics", right?

It is a bizarre idea, at least traditionally the value of virginity was supposed to be for your husband, and of course endless potential for deception and paranoia that your future wife isn't what she claims, while the same apparent need for "proof" is needed to prove the one-time value that is about to be extinguished.

I remember the story of exotic dancers were aspiring college students, at least maybe that story helped my extroverted male friends think they're doing charity work, or maybe that was my explanation of my friends' enthusiastic idiocy.

I'm also reminded of this story (below), although really it just teaches me that we're all prostitutes at heart, willing to contemplate doing otherwise humiliating things under the promise of future financial security.

Given the amount of student debt is being shackled to this generation of students (beyond bankruptcy's power to clear), perhaps a moment of one-time humiliation is worth it to avoid a lifetime of debt? At least I'm not sure there's a great difference between prostitution and debt-slavery, just a difference when you pay the price, up front or later on.

http://quoteinvestigator.com/2012/03/07/haggling/
"A man asks a woman if she would be willing to sleep with him if he pays her an exorbitant sum. She replies affirmatively. He then names a paltry amount and asks if she would still be willing to sleep with him for the revised fee. The woman is greatly offended and replies as follows:

"She: What kind of woman do you think I am?

"He: We’ve already established that. Now we’re just haggling over the price."
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-69415844594180493332014-05-01T06:04:03.218-07:002014-05-01T06:04:03.218-07:00Lastango,
Does kind of play into the "We kno...Lastango,

Does kind of play into the "We know what you are. We are just haggling over the price." meme.

As a counter point: http://linkis.com/misfitpolitics.co/20/4f7Si

I am some what encouraged by the response by a preponderance of women commentators. It would seem that there is an underlying change happening that the "media," which is populated by feminists, has not recognized nor can they relate to it. This is indicated by the couple of women who post here. Most of the comments here are not anti-women. They are anti-radical feminist who really are bigots.
I would posit that feminism only represented a small subset of women, including women in colleges and universities that are the useful idiots that radicals need to maintain the fiction that drives feminism. Ergo it is why you see the attack on marriage by feminism because marriage is the first time that both men and women have to think of someone other than themselves.
Just as they try to handicap young boys in the public education system they have to handicap young single women. As they say "You come a long way baby." Right back to what you said you did not want to be perceived. If so many women were not hurt by feminism I would really enjoy the humor contained therein.Dennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14962996070458991675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-75475360905398514782014-04-30T10:43:42.528-07:002014-04-30T10:43:42.528-07:00Of course she values her virginity! Now, with a cohort of single mothers and unmarried women roosting like chickens, there's a feminist-fed push to convince men they should find New Women appealing.

This unhinged effort involves providing men with intellectual explanations why they should be viscerally drawn to New Women, in the same primal way they always have been to feminine women. Enquiring minds may wish to contemplate the likes of "Five Reasons to date a Feminist".

http://www.bluethenation.com/2013/07/29/5-reasons-to-date-a-feminist-woman/

There they will read: "In my opinion, there is nothing more desirable than a strong-willed, intelligent, self-possessed woman."

Mmmmm... makes my motor run!
