Fact is (if AA Gill is to be believed) that it's a monumental rip-off for gullible tourists.

Also, if you go to Tripadvisor and read some of the reviews there, you will see that the malaise of this place goes back well before 2010.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11809294959197386108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-9296825754717506852011-03-08T05:03:08.873-08:002011-03-08T05:03:08.873-08:00Thank you for providing us with this rather crucia...Thank you for providing us with this rather crucial piece of information. As it happens, Gill's prose stylings are still wonderful... despite the rather gross ethical lapse.Stuart Schneidermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12784043736879991769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-23987377377973412372011-03-08T01:03:30.285-08:002011-03-08T01:03:30.285-08:00About “L’ami Louis”… It's no longer the "...About “L’ami Louis”… It's no longer the "place to be" ! The journalist who wrote this very harsh review in Vanity Fair did not mention that the restaurant’s owner, Thierry de La Brosse, passed away last year. It seems that since his death, this legendary place is slowly going down to a grave of its own…Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
