The admin...The press is scared... of her and Obama. The administration has effectively castrated the Fourth Estate. Or perhaps it can be more accurately said they have emasculated themselves. You look at the disparate treatment of the Bush administration by the press in contrast to Obama, there's no comparison. Consider how Karl Rove was treated as a senior advisor under Bush, versus the pass Valerie Jarrett receives for an unclear executive branch function. It's very strange. I can only surmise that they're terrified of her for some reason, as is Obama's senior staff. I guess we'll learn what we need to know in January 2017. Just in time, eh?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-33741013812632187082013-11-10T04:45:50.562-08:002013-11-10T04:45:50.562-08:00I believe that you are right... but why doesn'...I believe that you are right... but why doesn't anyone study her relationship with BHO.Stuart Schneidermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12784043736879991769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-34451490072611150882013-11-09T19:54:37.371-08:002013-11-09T19:54:37.371-08:00Valerie Jarrett is the most powerful human being o...Valerie Jarrett is the most powerful human being on the planet. The abuser apologizes, gives us free stuff, says we will be provided for, bullies us and keeps us separated from the truth of the abuser's actions. The abuser knows that the abuse can continue because all of the outlets and organizations that were put in place to keep that abuse from happens are part of the abuser culture.
Until we actually recognize that we are being abused we will continually suffer worse treatment because we will be convinced that we deserve it by the power that exist. We will be bullied by intimating that we just do not have the wherewithal to make intelligent decisions for ourselves. There is nothing that we can do without the aid of the abuser culture fore they are our betters.Dennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14962996070458991675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-43021722000784452172013-11-09T06:26:02.947-08:002013-11-09T06:26:02.947-08:00Obama thinks he is sincere... that makes it so. He...Obama thinks he is sincere... that makes it so. He does whatever Valerie Jarrett tells him to do, anyway.

His second term is a shambles, and he'll never take responsibility for it -- someone did this to him! As a result, count on new heights of partisan invective, slews of executive orders, and divisive Supreme Court nominations. For added flavor, there'll be all kinds of zany international incidents and geopolitical incursions by our enemies now that they really know Obama will do nothing militarily, since he's spending all his time making flag officers politically correct and giving military women the thrill of killing in combat.

Obama saves all his heavy weapons for his domestic opposition. He cares not a whit for the American people he's supposed to represent. It's all about him, all the time. We're all going to hear the word "legacy" for the next three years. If any conservatives on the Supreme Court die/retire, our way of life and liberties will be at stake, and the political rancor will be like nothing we've ever seen... it'll make the Bork nomination look like wiffle ball.

One more thing... I suggest we all start talking back to the presidents, their people, and the media about this nonsense about a president's "legacy." It's all silly, self-important tripe, and we cannot afford it. I don't care is its a Demoblican or Republicrat who wants one, we've gotta rein these egos in, or we'll be broke. That goes for presidential libraries, too... we don't need them. Not one.

America is in a deep, deep malaise. I feel like we're living through the 1970s all over again.

TipAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-24168305142793507342013-11-09T05:41:15.169-08:002013-11-09T05:41:15.169-08:00Important point... a person who apologizes must su...Important point... a person who apologizes must sustain his apology with actions that show him to have changed his ways. So far as one can see here there seems to be no followup demonstrating that act of contrition.
The only idea I have seen floated is the extension of subsidies to those affected which is just throwing money at the people who are hurting because of Obama's actions.
Effectively, if one's deductible, and costs, goes up to the levels seen in Obamacare one has no insurance. Add to that that doctors, in order to protect themselves, will increasingly create concierge practices or become part of a hospital. Less doctors, longer waits, and little chance for admittance to speciality care when needed for those who are stuck in Obamacare.
The ultimate outcome is that the rich will have their healthcare and all others will have their wait times and the approval of some board in DC for any real procedure.
Obama DOES NOT apologize, He dissembles and lies.Dennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14962996070458991675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-61991628031268367722013-11-09T05:30:04.353-08:002013-11-09T05:30:04.353-08:00No Democrat will escape God's Judgement. A fellow pointed out that during the time it took this administration to screw up a simple website, the US government of the 1940s had won WWII. It boggles the mind.

It still angers me when I recall how this crap law was rammed through Congress with lies, arrogance, kickbacks, and corrupt deals with industry. The Democrats must never be trusted to control both houses of Congress and the WH again.

There was a time when I actually thought about it a bit, but now I just vote against anyone with a "D" after their name.
