There were a fair number of women, and to say that being a whore is typical of military women, is to say it is typical of ALL women. Do you want to go there?

I see you have backed off. But the woman was wooed by the general's power, ad the general was wooed by the woman's attention an awe...
And they let themselves go from there. Men on business trips have to avoid this often with stewardesses... Women have to avoid it with the sales guys...
(And every combination therein)
But these two did NOT, and their spouses and our country pay the price...
I hate to judge, but, come on, you two!! Keep your pants zipped!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-79223655977883586232012-11-11T05:43:38.699-08:002012-11-11T05:43:38.699-08:00Anon,

The vast majority are good people who are even better given the discipline involved. Just not my experience being involved with the military, in one form or another, for over 40 plus years. Washinton D C is another matter.
If it is still like it was when I was stationed there, the numbers of women far out numbers the number of men by 8 to 1. Those numbers are going to denote that the competition is going to be a "little rough." It is not a whole lot different than in colleges and universities, but more so.
Lets face facts here. We are all capable of falling off our "white horse." Has anyone not met more that one woman who just seems to have an affect on you that even you don't understand? There is more than one woman who is a perfect match for you. Finding that one is the problem.
Over the years I have tried to come up with reasons why these things happen, but all I know is that I don't know. It is like the question o,f "Why do so many people vote against their own interests?
The best I can do is a theory that one out of every hundred women/men are a perfect match for us. It goes down from there to one in a hundred is so bad for us we should not be in the same world together. In a life it is possible to come across more than one. A lot depends upon how we handle it. For the most part we are children trying to act like adults and failing miserably.
I am not trying to give Patraeus cover for he should know better than "Foul your own nest."
The real problem here is what this is meant to hide from view.Dennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14962996070458991675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-70792501439233001032012-11-10T13:00:04.050-08:002012-11-10T13:00:04.050-08:00Now that Petraeus has resigned, made his affair pu...Now that Petraeus has resigned, made his affair public, he can't be blackmailed and can spill the beans on Obama.
A good scenario, yes?Kathnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078379512095504946.post-44846816773520589522012-11-10T11:17:09.765-08:002012-11-10T11:17:09.765-08:00It's too soon for facts.
