"How to Make Better Career Decisions..."

If life coaching means something, it must involve seeing life as a game. This in contrast to therapy that most often sees life as a drama.

As some of you know, I presented the difference between coaching and therapy in these terms on my website.

Today, I read an interview that Meridith Levinson of CIO.com conducted with Nathan Bennett, a professor of management at Georgia Tech. Bennett has just published a book about how you can use game theory to learn how to make better career decisions. To consider what you are doing as moves in a game, to develop strategy and tactics, to evaluate the other players and their goals... all of this is obviously complicated.

Nonetheless, if you would like to have a preliminary run through a game-theoretical approach to career management, I recommend Levinson's interview with Bennett. Link here.
