From Poland: A Message about Terrorism

Many commentators are railing against President Trump for not being overly polite to other NATO leaders yesterday. Perish the thought. While they are all cheering the arrival of the weak-kneed former president Obama in Europe-- why not try to upstage your successor?-- it is perhaps not so bad that someone put them on notice.

Following Obama's lead these countries have been caving in to terrorism, opening their arms to dangerous refugees, and failing to protect their citizens. The British police keep saying that they are tough and resolute. But, the Manchester bombing said otherwise. And we should also recall the appalling performance of the authorities in Rotherham. Sacrificing children to the forces of radical Islam has been British policy for quite some time.

If you think that Trump was tough on the European elites, listen to the words of Poland's Prime Minister, its Iron Lady, Beata Szydlo, yesterday:

  1. Are there supposed to be subtitles to the speech? I don't know Polish.

Obama is showing how much class he has, and his respect for "the office" of POTUS. He's making a lot of money now, after basing his career on condemning other people who worked hard for theirs (the nameless, faceless "rich"). He'll receive no scolding from his ideological brethren now. Funny how silence is so clarifying.

  2. IAC, Bernie Sanders took up the cause, but he's not a brethren capitalist like the Democrats. He's a Socialist.

Sen. Bernie Sanders believes former President Barack Obama's plan to receive $400,000 for speaking at a September Wall Street health conference is "distasteful,"

Sanders labeled the transaction "not a good idea" and said he was "sorry President Obama made that choice."

"I just think it does not look good," Sanders said. "I just think it is distasteful -- not a good idea that he did that."

"Look, Barack Obama is a friend of mine, and I think he and his family represented us for eight years with dignity and intelligence," Sanders said. "But I think at a time when we have so much income and wealth inequality ... I think it just does not look good."

"It's not a good idea, and I'm sorry President Obama made that choice," he added.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren -- another influential progressive -- has also expressed concern over Obama's speech, saying Thursday that the former President's decision "troubled" her.

  3. Eastern Europe suffered thru 40-50 years of Communism. They see, I think, the Muslims as the nomenklatura. getting away with anything and everything that the people can't, so they're not going to put up with that again.

  4. Hmm. "Distasteful", Eh? As "distasteful" as Bernie's new $600k lake house and the fact his wife ripped off the kolledge she was running?

The thing about $600k lake homes, is the bank owns them if you stop making payments. And if you live on the coasts, a nicely positioned shed might go for that much. Old people tend to be rich, at least if $1-2 million is still considered rich these days.

Sanders household's 2015 income suggests that Bernie and Jane Sanders hold assets valued at roughly $1.7 million. Subtracting the median of the candidate's listed credit card debt range suggests that the couple holds somewhere in the neighborhood of $1.65 million in assets, assuming both houses are owned outright.

  6. I know how mortgages work, Arehead. You know for a fact he has a mortgage on that house? And if you can rouse a neuron, you can find a pic of the house. It is neither on the coast ( which is why it's called a "lake house") nor is it a shed.

And I note for the record you carefully avoid his wife's tasteful mortgage loan activities, currently the object of an FBI probe...

I confess I didn't know what "kolledge" referred to. I see now, that's how cool people write "college" now-a-days, college being an object of contempt, filled with kommunism-lovers.

Feel free to link sources in your comments. I see a story here from a few weeks ago.

Federal investigators are looking into allegations that Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) wife, Jane Sanders, falsified loan documents while she served as the president of Burlington College, according to multiple reports.

She claimed the college could count on $2.6 million in donations to pay for the purchased land, according to a 2010 loan application. But she ultimately raised only a fourth of that, making $676,000 in donations over the next four years, putting the college into bankruptcy in May 2016.

The numbers that donors say they pledged compared to what Sanders documented differ, according the report.

Hopefully the FBI will soon get to the bottom of those possibly falsified loan documents.
