Fox News Defends George Soros

So, the Fox News midday talkfest, called Outnumbered, shut down Newt Gingrich the other day… for mentioning that George Soros had something to do with the riots sweeping blue American cities.

Soros-linked organizations had been installing leftist prosecutors in these cities. Said prosecutors were actively releasing criminals and refusing to prosecute criminals. It did not take the criminal elements too long to figure out the new regime.

Here is what Newt said, via Zero Hedge:

"Look, the number one problem in almost all these cities is George Soros-elected, left-wing, anti-police, pro-criminal district attorneys who refuse to keep people locked up," said Gingrich, adding "Just yesterday they put somebody back on the streets who’s wanted for two different murders in New York City."

"You cannot solve this problem — and both [Kamala] Harris and [Joe] Biden have talked very proudly out what they call ‘progressive district attorneys’.

Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros’s money," he added. "And they’re a major cause of the violence we’re seeing because they keep putting the violent criminals back on the street."

But then, panelists shut Gingrich down:

Gingrich was then shut down, after commentator Melissa Francis interjected "I'm not sure we need to bring George Soros into this."

"He paid for it!" shot back Gingrich, adding "I mean, why can’t we discuss that fact that millions of dollars…."

"No he didn’t," insisted Marie Harf, another panelist - adding "I agree with Melissa. George Soros doesn’t need to be a part of this conversation."

"Okay, so it's verboten," Gingrich replied. Awkward silence ensued...

Of course, Marie Harf is a political hack, but why was Melissa Francis defending the honor of George Soros?

Keep in mind that the same George Soros was formerly associated with the Gestapo. When he was a boy in Hungary Soros was protected by a Gestapo officer. He accompanied the officer when they expropriated Jewish property.

Evidently, we do not know why George was thus favored. And we do not believe that children should be prosecuted for working with Nazis. But still, we ought to consider what effect the experience might have had on the developing mind of young Soros. Does he feel a debt of gratitude toward his protector? Is he using his money to advance his protector’s cause? Or is he using it to punish those who defeated his protector?

Zero Hedge explains that, of course, Gingrich was right.

Meanwhile, Gingrich was right. As we reported in 2016, Soros openly expressed his intention to 'reshape the American justice system' by pouring funds into 'powerful' District Attorney races.

As we noted at the time: "So far, Soros has funneled $3 million into seven local DA races over the past year but his support is "expected to intensify in the next few years, thanks to longer-term planning and candidate recruitment."  In general, Soros looks to fund progressive DAs running on platforms to "reduce racial disparity in sentencing" and support prison "diversion programs" for drug offenders instead of trials that could result in jail time."

So why is it "verboten" to discuss?

Good question. Fox News owes us an answer.

True enough, host Harris Faulkner offered a half-hearted apology yesterday, but it was really a non-apology. The show should invite Gingrich back and offer a debate about the Soros influence on America's blue cities.

  1. Given that Soros has probably caused more damage to the U.S.A. than Lee Harvey Oswald and Osama bin Laden combined, I don't think he should be just a topic of conversation, but the main topic of conversation, until the threat he poses has been neutralized.

A serious press would have already published serial exposés, and a serious country would have already pursued his criminal prosecution or deportation. Alas, we have neither.

  2. Tucker and Hannity mention him all the time. Most people weren't aware that he is Jewish so they don't start hating Jews because of criticism directed at him. They are morely like to question why the other side keeps harping his being Jewish.

  3. Very telling interviews by George Soros compiled in a commentary printed in the LA Times in 2004 provides some shocking quotes.

    http://articles.latimes.com/2004/oct/04/opinion/oe-ehrenfeld4

“I fancied myself as some kind of god. If truth be known, I carried some rather potent messianic fantasies with me from childhood, which I felt I had to control, otherwise they might get me in trouble.”

“It is a sort of disease when you consider yourself some kind of god, the creator of everything, but I feel comfortable about it now since I began to live it out.”

“I do not accept the rules imposed by others…. And in periods of regime change, the normal rules don’t apply.” Clearly, Soros considers himself to be someone who is able to determine when the “normal rules” should and shouldn’t apply.

  5. Total materialist, yet resistant to the reality of his own progressive (small “p”) material undoing, as life unfolds — that resistance to what acts against his will to live. Contradiction? No way. All Leftists think like this. Yet they all STRIVE to live, just like the rest of us.

If you look at all the Democrat Party and Leftists accuse others of, you quickly realize it is a projection of their own dishonest and cynical machinations, and the visible outcome is politics. Disgusting.

    Destroyers all.
