A thought for today. Or better, a puzzle for today. Someone somewhere must have too much time on his or her hands. So, in the name of research, he or she asked people about embarrassing sexual experiences. I will spare you the description of the infelicities that befall those who have sex in a wheelbarrow.
And yet, I will report this intriguing observation. Half of those surveyed rated the sex with their current partner as the worst they have ever had. Study Finds reports:
Does a healthy sex life really keep couples happy and together? If so, half of America is heading for Breakup City! A new study finds one in two Americans in a relationship admit that their current partner is the worst sex they’ve ever had.
This might mean, as the report suggests, that these couples are headed for a break up. But, it might also mean that we have been led to believe, mistakenly, that great sex is what keeps couples together. For my part I will opt for the latter.
As a follow-up the researchers might have asked how many people are married to the person they had the best sex with? And as a further follow up, how much experience did each of them have before marriage?

And I give you a great big THANK YOU from sparing us from that.
ReplyDelete"As a follow-up the researchers might have asked how many people are married to the person they had the best sex with? My memory, not being what it never was, I couldn't say, if I were asked...except for that "my memory, not being what it never was..."
Bad sex, even bad sex in Normal, Illinois, is still better than No sex.
ReplyDeleteBut please, don't ask me how I know.
