"Dumbass of the Day"

This comes to us from a web page called F.sensitivity. Is it a joke or a hoax or a symptom of cultural and intellectual decline? Then again, it might be all of the above.

  1. Mr. Schneiderman, you are a mean, judgmental person. Maybe whether this person is an aunt or an uncle will depend on how they "identify" at a given moment. Perhaps Hallmark should be forced to produce transgender aunt/uncle cards... a sort of "choose your own adventure" gender-identity card of congratulations. The Hallmark people should create a new social title: AUNCLE (pronounced AHN-kuh l) to be more inclusive and escape these petty, archaic family distinctions. After all, there is not enough acceptance or celebration of being transgender in today's society. Why this person cannot be allowed to choose the aunt/uncle distinction -- in the moment of their choosing -- without your sort of cruel judgment is beyond me.

  2. IAC must be at least half as bored as me, at least he's more creative than me.

Sometimes saying things intentionally wrongly can sound cute, especially by a young girl trying to sound cute, although then she still might worry that people will think she's serious and doesn't realize her error.

A search finds a very similar tweet, but not identical. I admit I can't be sure if it was intentional or accidental.

There are some "mean, judgmental" comments that follow. I assume tweets can be deleted, so this young Haile is apparently unconcerned or thinks all attention is good.
