As Thanksgiving Approaches

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, many of us are contemplating the meaning of gratitude. 

It is more difficult than it seems. Gratitude lies in the gesture not the feeling. If you say thank you and return favors you are showing gratitude, regardless of how you do or do not feel. If you fail to make the most elementary gesture of gratitude, while your soul is overflowing with it, you are an ingrate.

Now, that was easy, wasn’t it?

The thought that immediately springs to mind is this one: how can people show their gratitude for the work I put into producing these daily columns. It may not appear to be so, but it does take some considerable work. I never use AI….
