Speaking of ambassadors, and especially about dismissed
ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, Matt Margolis recalls the time when the Obama administration
left its Libya ambassador, Christopher Stevens to die in Benghazi.
Margolis emphasizes Trump’s tweet, but, the Obama
administration failure to protect an ambassador surely counts as dereliction of
duty.
But
what really gets me is how it's been almost seven years since Barack Obama left
one of his ambassadors to die in a terrorist attack on a U.S. consulate, and
the same people who defended the Obama administration endlessly over that, are
feigning outrage over Trump's tweet expressing his opinion. Democrats have been
crying "impeach!" over everything for years, and now every time Trump
expresses an opinion, we're hearing "intimidation." The same party
that defended the Obama administration's failure to protect our consulate in
Libya from an attack that claimed four American lives, including that of a U.S.
ambassador, are now trying to tell us that we should be outraged over a
harmless tweet—a tweet that, regardless of what one thinks of the content, was
written after Yovanovitch
started testifying, and as far as Trump knew, she wouldn't have even had an
opportunity to see until well after her testimony concluded? A tweet that she'd
have been oblivious to had Schiff not brought it up.
Democrats! The crybabies of politics! I'd tell them to "man up!", but then they'd claim I "triggered them". I could go on...and on...and on... but that's what I came here to say, and having said it (OK, OK, "typed" it; sheeesh!), I thank you for your patience.
ReplyDeleteWhy was Yovanovitch testifying anyway? Ask yourself that. Ask your friends that. It’s the same narrative based on the same playbook.
ReplyDeleteShe believes Trump is a mean, nasty beast for sacking her. She’s a victim. That’s her claim. That’s it. And that he doesn’t know what he’s doing in... Ukraine. Uh-huh. She and her friends should be directing U.S. foreign policy. She knows. Just ask her. So much for the “nonpartisan” professional diplomatic corps at Foggy Bottom.
Who runs the country? State Department bureaucrats???
None of this is for her to decide. PresidentTrump is the top of the executive branch of the United States government because he won a presidential election. If Yovanovitch doesn’t like that, she can run for President. But she won’t, and we all know why she won’t: lack of courage to back up her pure convictions. It’s the same narrative based on the same playbook.
This is all theater. Stop giving these jackals the benefit of the doubt — this isn’t a courtroom. Stop trying to be “fair” — the Democrats and Never Trumpers (like Senator Willard Romney) aren’t. This is a long game to shape public opinion.
Remember: this whole thing is about A PHONE CALL TO UKRAINE. That should put it in perspective. Tomorrow’s claim will be that Trump doesn’t follow Nestle’s recipe for Toll House cookies. It’s the same narrative based on the same playbook.
This is bare-knuckled politics in the form of high dramatic spectacle, with an endless parade of victims, all brought to you on a Glowing Box.
Insane.
I’ve heard rumors that Democrats have a witness who heard from someone else that the Air Force One chocolate chip cookies Trump claimed were Toll House cookies were not REAL Toll House cookies. Trump even claimed they were the “the very, very best” Toll House cookies.
ReplyDeleteThis is yet another exhibit in a long line of incontrovertible truths that Trump is a viper who hates America and brazenly appropriates Nestle’s intellectual property for his own nefarious purposes.
In chilling detail, the whistleblower will tell the committee that two weeks later she overheard someone else saying that Trump called them “Trump House cookies,” yet another clear violation of American norms protecting intellectual property. This latter example is also proof positive he is a narcissist — unlike any other politician in all,of history!
How long can we allow such high crimes and misdemeanors to go on??? Even the President of the United States is not above the law!
Just think of what he might do next if he is not stopped — he might appropriate the Pillsbury Doughboy to lure innocent children with other tempting baked goods! The committee should immediately subpoena the White House pastry chef and get THE TRUTH!
Impeach! Impeach!

The Road to Syria--Obama Admin. KNEW Weapons Were Shipped from Benghazi to Syrian Rebels/Jihadists
ReplyDeleteA Libya-Rebel/Jihadist Affair? Furthermore, we know that that the Rebel/Jihadist factions were inclusive and included elements of ISIS and ISIS-aligned interests. A Libya-ISIS Affair, and we included an ambassador and other Americans as a good faith measure. Then there is the Iraq/ISIS/Iran quid pro quo in abandoning the first, leaving a vacuum for the progress of the second, and paying with palettes full of cash to the last. The silence suggests overlapping and converging interests.
As for Democrat labels and judgments, a dearth of evidence, and 12 trimesters. He's viable.
