Boris Johnson Recites Homer's Iliad

Whatever deeper meaning you wish to attribute to this video of Boris Johnson reciting some passages from the Iliad in Attic Greek, I post it as a rousing affirmation of the Western literary canon. This happened in Melbourne some six years ago.

Not just "some passages" but the very beginning "Sing Goddess of the anger of Peleus's son Achilles . . ." and so on.
