If only his propper-uppers had an implant in his brain, and could and would read his notes properly...
Is this because he’s so far gone, he can’t remember so much as a one line answer? Or because his keepers are afraid he’ll say more than one line and dig himself another hole? Or because, without a cue card, he actually doesn’t KNOW the answer to the most basic questions, not even about what he meant when he said what he said because he meant nothing and can’t remember that he said it.
