New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has long been recognized
as a great communicator. Here are a few remarks he recently made to a minority
audience in Paterson, New Jersey. They are a rhetorical tour de force. All
Republicans should study this clip.
If Christie would learn how to articulate a Republican
political philosophy and political agenda he would be a formidable candidate
outside of New Jersey.

He is a very genial guy. How can anyone not like this guy.
To paraphrase Christie: If he gets to 12%, he'll consider it a triumph.
But seriously, how closely does his political philosophy conform to those principles recorded in our national charter and constitution?
I will say this for him, in the performances I have watched, he does manage to come across as confident, even competent, and convivial. That's quite a balancing act to perform when you know you cannot accommodate some of the people some of the time, and all of the people all of the time.
