Jewish Anti-Semitism

No one really cares that Black Lives Matter is a Marxist offshoot of the Nation of Islam. Those who are running into the streets to proclaim their superior moral virtue and their profound, limitless opposition to racism are willing to forgive anything in order to be on the right side of this culture war disguised as a moral crusade.

Leaders of the protest movement might be anti-Semitic, but that doesn’t matter either. No one noticed or cared that security for the George Floyd funeral in Houston was provided by the Nation of Islam. No one got the point when synagogues were defaced in California.

Now, the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith is joining with notable anti-Semite Al Sharpton to declare culture war against one of the nation’s largest and most successful Jewish-owned enterprises.

If you do not think that these people have completely lost their minds, you haven’t been paying attention. At the least you should be paying attention to the fact that Al Sharpton visited the Obama White House dozens of times. Did anyone notice? Did anyone care? Not a chance.

They are too virtuous for that. They are also too virtuous to notice that today’s Democratic Party has cornered the market in anti-Semitism, thanks the Squad. As long as that Party continues to have people like Omar and Tlaib as members it has compromised its moral authority and had made itself a vehicle for anti-Semitism.

The Washington Free Beacon has the story of the new alliance between Sharpton and the ADL.

It begins by recalling the Sharpton record on anti-Semitism:

It’s hard to think of a more prominent anti-Semite in American public life over the last 30 years than the Rev. Al Sharpton. Louis Farrakhan may give him a run for his money, but the leader of the so called Nation of Islam remains a pariah—Barack Obama was photographed with him once, in 2005, and never made that mistake again.

Sharpton is a different story. He has never apologized for leading a pogrom against the Jews of Brooklyn that marked the worst outburst of anti-Semitic violence in modern American history, but despite all that, or perhaps because of it, has laundered himself into an elder statesman and star television host whose endorsement ambitious Democratic politicians must now seek.

Now, the leader of the ADL, one Jonathan Greeblatt, has joined with Sharpton in an effort to shut down offensive speech on Facebook. To be clear, offensive speech is simply another term for conservative thinking. They want to be leaders of the thought police:

We never thought we’d see Sharpton embraced by Jews, but that’s what’s transpiring now as the Anti-Defamation League strays onto the Reverend’s turf—leading a boycott campaign against one of the most successful Jewish-owned businesses in the world. Its CEO, Jonathan Greenblatt, has tapped Sharpton as a partner in a political project to police objectionable speech that both are trying to cast as a modern civil rights issue.

Sharpton has come a long way. So has the ADL.

Whereas Sharpton and other members of the black community have been responsible for anti-Semitic outbursts in Brooklyn and elsewhere, Greenblatt wants to blame it on Facebook. That is, on the Jews. It’s a way not to hold the responsible parties accountable:

Look no further than Greenblatt, who has led the ADL since 2014. Since the winter, Greenblatt, a professional do-gooder whose resume is littered with self-promotional schemes that have culminated in payouts from Fortune 500 companies, has been blaming the anti-Semitic violence that has convulsed New York City on Facebook and other social media giants.

They do not care about occupying territory. They want to control minds. And they believe that they can do so by shutting down any speech that contradicts the deeply-held opinions of Al Sharpton and Black Lives Matter:

The Greenblatt-Sharpton campaign is a left-wing power grab disguised as a civil rights mission. They and their allies are calling on Facebook to massively expand moderation of harassment based on "specific identity characteristics" like race or religion. That process "must include experts on various forms of identity-based hate"—doubtless appointed from groups like the ADL and Sharpton’s National Action Network, and with those organizations very well compensated for the service.

The result will be the systematic silencing of voices that dissent from the increasingly rigid orthodoxy of the Democratic Party. It is already clear that under that system, the anti-Semites like Sharpton will continue to get a pass and that "hate" will be sniffed out and silenced only when it doesn’t align with progressive goals.

Doesn't it feel like raw cowardice. When facing anti-Semitism, their instinct is to collaborate.

 The endgame, if we may call it such, is to return Biden to the White House. Then, recover the Iran Nuclear Deal, given Iran more money to kill Jews and to develop nuclear weapons-- weapons that to be used against Israel. It will fulfill the Obama legacy and solve the Jewish problem.
