A Child Is Being Raped

You would have thought that Great Britain had learned the lesson. A decade ago the nation woke up to the existence of grooming gangs in Rotherham. Gangs of Pakistani males were raping and sex trafficking young high school girls. The local constabulary, when informed about what was going on, ignored the problem. After all, the perpetrators were all Muslim and they did not want to be called racist.

The other word for their practice is human sacrifice. Young girls are being sacrificed to the gods of multiculturalism. As you might imagine Britain’s fearless feminists have been cowed into silence on this matter.

Pediatrician Dr. Max Pemberton has not been cowed. He reports on it for The Daily Mail.

It’s 10 years since the grooming gangs in Rotherham were exposed. An entire decade has passed, yet a follow-up investigation has shown that police are still failing to protect thousands of young girls at risk of sexual abuse.

Police seem to have a completely warped sense of what is important. They have time to do TikTok videos and attend Pride marches, speak to people about comments they make on Facebook and harass and arrest people for travelling a few miles during lockdown. Why on earth aren’t they able to take action about children being raped? How is this not a priority? It beggars belief.

The local police have failed. They are too busy policing speech and attending Pride marches. They have been harassing people for breaking lockdown rules. And yet, when a child is being raped, they are hiding under their desks.

Despite what you might be led to believe from reading the woke media, rape gangs did not get their warped conception of women by reading Ovid or Homer. They did not become criminal deviants because they read the great books of the Western literary tradition. 

They all come from one specific culture. You know which one it is.

But it would be downright foolish to not understand that there is a cohort of men from mainly Muslim-faith ethnic minorities – in particular from Pakistan – who view women in a different way to how the rest of us do. I have experienced this first hand. I was brought up in Slough and I remember the repeated harassment that my sister and female friends would get from young Asian men who viewed white girls as ‘easy’.

Many of the men who were running these gangs a decade ago were arrested and jailed. So, how does it happen that it still exists.

What is particularly chilling is the organised nature of Rotherham and this is precisely what young girls described to me – meeting men in car parks, being passed around like objects, given drink and drugs, threatened if they tried to refuse sex. It’s also the flagrant disregard for the law or morality of our country that is so horrifying.

Make no mistake – this is the result of a culture in which women are too often viewed as second-rate citizens and white women as third-rate. This is what comes out of the twisted logic of multiculturalism that believes two cultures with diametrically opposed views on women can exist without there being repercussions.

And multiculturalism contributes to the mayhem because it tells us that different cultures all have equal value. You are not allowed to criticize or to call out members of a different culture, lest you want to be labeled a racist. Didn’t you know that all the world’s problems must be attributed to white privilege and to white supremacy?

Scandals such as Rotherham come out of social mores that endorse or turn a blind eye to female genital mutilation, forced marriage and so-called honour killings, or believe that because white women wear revealing clothes, they must be prostitutes, regardless of their age. A culture that discourages or downright forbids women from living independent lives, from even learning English. This is what provides the fertile ground for these rape gangs.

Pemberton lays the blame at the foot of the police. But that also means, a band of feckless politicians:

But what is the point of us all being appalled by the stories that come out of Rotherham if nothing really changes? How on earth – a decade later – can another generation of young innocents be being sacrificed on the pyre of weak, nervous policing? For things to change, we need the infrastructure in place to deal with these cases as they are happening – and this simply is not the case. Beleaguered social workers are inundated with referrals, all equally horrifying and in need of attention.

Being a practicing pediatrician, Pemberton has had direct experience of the system.

When I reported one young girl in care who was being passed around gangs of young men to be sexually abused, the weary response from the social worker was that she was now nearly 16, so what was the point in investigating? I stood with the phone in my hand, knowing that I was about to discharge her back to a life of abuse, simply because social services were too overstretched. I could have wept.

The uncomfortable truth is that being horrified by all this is not enough. We need to invest money and resources in social work teams on the ground if the rape gangs are to be stopped. And the police need to get off Twitter, grow a backbone and start doing some actual policing.
