First, as the nation’s Democrat governors and mayors declare their willingness to protect their illegal migrant populations-- it must have something to do with the census-- Bill Melugin reports that in Massachusetts, three members of said criminal group have been arrested for raping children:
BREAKING: ICE Boston announces the arrests of three alleged illegal alien child rapists in Massachusetts, two of whom are charged w/ forcibly raping MA children, and another who was convicted of raping a child in Brazil in 2022, but was hiding in MA as a fugitive after he was caught & released at the New Mexico border in April 2022. All of these arrests took place in MA, where Gov. Maura Healey said the other day her state will not cooperate with the incoming Trump admin’s federal immigration enforcement efforts.
Obviously, these politicians are posturing. And yet, the citizens they are pledged to protect are paying a very high price for it.
Second, you need a well-developed sense of humor to appreciate this. The bride in question did not have one.
According to her Reddit post, she spent some considerable amount of money creating the perfect vegan menu for her wedding. She did not tell anyone that the food on offer would lack meat or dairy.
But then, when they found out, some of her guests ordered pizza, to be delivered to the reception. They were not going to limit themselves to grass and twigs.
Apparently, some of her cousins believed that the bride was foisting her own vegan beliefs on everyone else.
Third, speaking about the general rejection of green policies, we read the following from France, via the Gateway Pundit. It’s about farmers revolting against environmentalist fantasies:
The tragic situation of the European farmers is a by-product of the EU elites’ obsession with their ‘Net-zero’ fantasies, leading them to impose a whole host of crippling, failed agricultural policies, making farming in Europe difficult and expensive.
Of course, these same heartless elites are more than happy to turn around and negotiate a free-trade agreement with South American countries that have great, much cheaper agricultural produce since in Mercosur there is no equivalent ‘green’ legislation.
So now European farmers are on a war footing.
Farmers in southwestern France staged a blockade at the Port of Bordeaux today, demanding government action over unfair foreign competition.
With the power of their tractors, they blocked all access roads to the a key grain terminal.
No less than 82% of French citizens support farmers’ strikes.
Fourth, in the world of self-caricature, a group of Berkeley literature professors decided to show off how stupid they really are. And they exposed the simple fact that they are indoctrinating students in their ideologies, not teaching literature.
Nellie Bowles writes on the Free Press:
University of California, Berkeley announced that it would offer a course on world literature, and this one hits all the greats. I’ll pull from the course description: “From the Hamas revolutionary resistance forces combating settler-colonialism to a continuous anti-imperialist politic by Cuba, Vietnam, Venezuela, China, DPRK, and various Indigenous and First-Nation peoples across the Americas, there continues to be a commitment to anti-imperialism and anti-capitalism in what has been termed the Global South and those within the Global North that actively challenge it.”
Bowles adds that the nation’s dumbest chaired professor, that would be Judith Butler, teaches in said department.
The only good news is that once it got noticed outside of their own little bubble, the assembled professors deleted the course description. Now, if only they could delete the course.
Fourth, the old saying instructs us to follow the money. We all know that the Biden administration, for failing to enforce sanctions on Iran, has provided the regime with limitless funds. Iran uses some of those funds to sustain Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis.
Does it get any worse?
Apparently, it does, Daniel Greenfield brings our attention to the fact that our government has been funding the Palestinian cause. That is, Palestinian terrorism. On humanitarian grounds, don’t you think:
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is providing $230 million in additional funding to support economic recovery and development programs in the West Bank and Gaza. This significant investment highlights USAID’s commitment to improving the lives of individuals and communities in the region amidst challenging conditions. Since 2021, USAID/West Bank and Gaza has invested over $600 million in economic support funding of the Palestinian people, in addition to the over $2.1 billion in humanitarian assistance since October 7, 2023.
You need but ask yourself whether the war in Gaza would have long since ended without the Biden administration supporting Hamas?
Fifth, it’s MSNBC, what did you expect? Jason Johnson, who professes at Morgan State University, was asked to comment on the selection of Pam Bondi for Attorney General.
As you know, Bondi served for eight years as Attorney General of the state of Florida. All those concerned believed that she had done an exemplary job.
Now Johnson manages to recognize that Bondi is competent. From which he concludes that she is dangerous, So much for grace, So much for good manners. So much for civility and decorum. The man is a complete fool.
The New York Post reports:
College professor and MSNBC contributor Jason Johnson warned that President-Elect Donald Trump’s new pick to lead the Justice Department should spark “fear” among the left because she could actually execute his agenda….
Johnson told MSNBC host Ari Melber that this is bad news for those concerned about Trump.
“Occasionally, attorneys general try to behave like they are not the personal lawyer of the President of the United States. That is completely out the window. Pam Bondi is exactly what I was saying in the last segment that we should all fear, because she’s competent,” he said.
Fear competence-- that’s a message that Democrats will soon be taking to the ballot box.
Come to think of it, no one ever accused Kamala of being competent.
