Last week the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported the bridge-- the game, not the span-- does not merely protect you against dementia and Alzheimer's, but it also makes you smarter.
Fifth-graders who had been taught how to play bridge tested far better than their peers who had not been taught the game.
It's one thing to love the game, as I do. It's quite another to know that the feeling is mutual.
