If you want to improve your life, your career and your relationships, you should try to become more likeable as a person. So says Bruna Martinuzzi in this wonderful post. Link here.
In her post, Martinuzzi offers some great advice for improving your likeability factor. As she makes clear, likeability is a skill that can be improved, but only with work.
You may know that I have posted about this topic before, here and here. And that I join Martinuzzi in recommending Tim Sanders' book: The Likeability Factor: How to Boost Your L-Factor and Achieve Your Life's Dreams.
Clearly, she is right to say that we all want to develop genuine likeability. We do not want to offer other people a veneer of likeability that covers a nasty disposition.
Today, I would mention one point in her post that I found especially salient.
Try to be likeable when no one is looking. Likeability is not something that you turn on and off as the occasion warrants.
This means that you should not save your good table manners for when you are in company or out with your boss. Be your best self all the time, even when you are not on public display. This will make it easier and more natural to be your best when you are out in public.

Your link took me to "The Real Debacle At Ground Zero" - By Steven Malanga, not to Bruna Martinuzzi.
Thanks for the heads up, Anon. I just corrected the link.
