You don’t have to look very long or very far to find bias in the New York Times.
Rather than report the news, the Times has given itself over to telling people what to think about the news.
To take a recent flagrant example, one that is part of the paper’s efforts to ensure that New York Jewish donors continue contributing to the Obama campaign.
Thus, Times Jerusalem bureau chief Ethan Bronner announced two days ago in a blaring headline: “Israelis See Netanyahu Trip as Diplomatic Failure.”
Clearly, the Times has chosen to qualify Netanyahu’s wildly successful trip as a “failure.”
If you read the Israeli media, Haaretz in particular, you can find out what Israelis themselves said in the most recent polls. Link here.
Haaretz offers this summary: “It's doubtful that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in his wildest, most optimistic dreams, would have dared to imagine when he set off for the United States last week that Israelis would respond to his six-day trip so enthusiastically: According to a new Haaretz poll, they are giving the visit high marks, considering it an overwhelming success.”

I have not considered the NYTimes a newspaper in years. It is why I call it a "viewpaper." The sad part is that many newspapers use their articles instead of doing their own reporting. I always check the news source in my on newspaper and it is also not hard to discern when a local reporter is just rewriting.
It is why so many newspapers are starting on the long spiral to unimportance and death. I always wonder about the people who use the NYTimes as a definitive source of the news. One cannot experience the NYTimes' blatant errors and dissembling without having some questions?
Sadly, the NYTimes was just as bad years ago only they had no real competition.
