Quotation of the Day

Camille Paglia continues to lead the charge against Hillary. From the left flank, of course. In her most recent screed she also takes a couple of shots at what passes for feminist thought.

She writes in Salon.com.

And is there anything creepier than that current Hillary meme, the campaign slogan “I’m with her”? The blurred borderlines of those pronouns (“I” numbly dissolving into “her”) and that ambiguous preposition (“with” her like a child, a lover, or a nurse’s aide with a geriatric patient?) are close to pathological. The Hillary acolytes are joined at the hip to “her”, the Great Leader Who Needs No Name, the Maternal Tit daubed in wormwood, the bitter toxin left by men–those spoilers of the universe who created the master structures of modern civilization that provide us put-upon gals with jobs, transportation, abundant food, clean water, housing, electricity, and a magical disease-spurning municipal sewage system that only men seem required to clean and repair.

I do like the fact that Camile Puglia points out that it was the rioters/protesters that elected Nixon. As I have mentioned before I believe it will be the rioters, protesters, the degradation of academe into silliness, Black Lives Matters, the display of the Mexican flag, "White Privilege" and other forms of indoctrination and guilt shaming, the attack on free speech and religious freedom, Hillary's obvious hatred of men, the insane hatred of this country, et al that will elect Trump in the same manner.
All Trump has to do is provoke the "bees" a bit and they will alienate a large enough segments of the population to elect him. Even those who don't particular like Trump, including myself, will rethink their opposition if these people on the left are what could be running and destroying this country. You go Justice Department. There is a point where the federal government and its minions will create the revolution, peaceful I hope, they so much seem to be vested in by transforming this country.

My sentiments exactly. As soon as you think doom is on the horizon because the Republicans nominate a blowhard, the Left will do what the Left does best: destroy. And as usual, they'll be destroying their own neighborhoods (and political party).

The Joker couldn't have come up with a better recipe. Can't wait for all these "tolerant, compassionate, loving, open-minded" people to go bat-guano crazy and show their true stripes. Watching them come unglued.

Bring it on.

Puglia sounds like she's having fun. I see some Hillary buttons here, 2 for $5. I'll feel no urge to buy them, but to each his or her own, right?

Dennis states unobvious things to me: "Hillary's obvious hatred of men, the insane hatred of this country."

I'll go with the bumper sticker "Don't believe everything you think." Maybe someone is insane, but as Trump likes to say while he's saying it, "We don't need to talk about that."

On "clean water, housing, electricity, and a magical disease-spurning municipal sewage system that only men seem required to clean and repair" it will be interesting to see if either Hillary or Trump visit Flint Michigan like Obama just did to make some point. At least Trump doesn't have to care if he chooses to pile on the crap to their Republican Governor's gross negligence.

And meanwhile on new crises, North America is testing our first refugee crisis with 80,000 people evacuated from Fort McMurray, and unsure if anything will be left when they return.

Our manly tarsand oil from Canada is apparently being defeated by mother nature, or maybe also by Saudi oil which is still 10 times cheaper to extract?

I guess we all get excited about different things. I'm just not worried about creepy memes.

You have no idea what you're talking about with the Flint water issue.

And don't kid yourself... you believe everything you think, Ares.

IAC,

You might add that Ares, in most cases, has no idea what he is talking about. One only needs to pay attention to what Hillary says and how she says it to see the feminist hatred of men. Off the reservation, as if all men are supposed to be on the reservation, are defined by a typical stereotype, and all that engenders, denotes a "freudian slip" about her real feelings about men.

For your edification; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0mzqL50I-w&feature=youtu.be
If Hillary actually cared about men she would not utilize or let her people utilize the 1 in 5 women get raped in college statistic. The figures are more like 1 in 52 still too high, but it is trending downward. One cannot make all men rapists or potential rapist and care about men. Hillary will do for sexual relations what Obama has done for race relations.
One of the reasons I stopped teaching privately was the chance of being falsely accused of sexual harassment or worse so yes I do get excited about losing my due process rights, the destruction of my life and family, et al. Who other than a fool would do otherwise?
