Yet again, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Bieber has managed
to make a complete fool of himself. He has embarrassed himself and his nation,
making Canada look like a pathetic wimp of a nation for having elected a
pathetic wimp of a human person as prime minister.
Piers Morgan informs us of Bieber’s latest teachable moment…
the moment where the prime minister of Canada became a schoolmarmish scold:
There's
always a moment in every movement when someone tries so hard to be a part of it
that they make a complete and utter politically correct plonker* of themselves.
In the
new wave of modern feminism, the list of contenders for the coveted title of
Chief PC Plonker is long and distinguished.
But now
a clear winner has emerged in the form of Trudeau, the handsome young
politician publicly drooled over by many of the same women who claim to find
male objectification of female flesh so demeaning.
What’s a plonker? Glad you asked. The terms refers to
dimwitted fools, but it is also slang for penis. Better yet, in the vernacular, a plonker is a man who pimps his girlfriend out to his male friends.
Morgan describes the incident in question:
In
video footage just released, a young woman from the World Mission of God, a
non-denominational church guided by the ideals of 'God the Mother', stood up to
ask him a question.
We came
here today,' she began, 'to ask you to look into the policies that religious
charitable organisations have in our legislation so it can also be changed
because maternal love is the love that's going to change the future of
mankind….'
On
hearing that last word, shirt-sleeved Trudeau recoiled like he'd been shot by a
crossbow and instantly raised his left arm in indignant angst.
'We
like to see 'peoplekind',' he declared, rudely interrupting the woman and
flapping the same arm around aggressively, 'not necessarily mankind. It's more
inclusive.'
Trudeau
comes over as the worst kind of hectoring, bully pulpit smart-a**; dripping
with virtuous self-aggrandizing sanctimony.
He also
saw fit to single-handedly rewrite the English language.
There
is no such word as 'peoplekind'.
Duh… The feminist moment had long since decided that the
word “mankind” was so hopelessly sexist that it needed to be replaced by the
neologism: “humankind.” Which has something to do with the milk of human
kindness.
As Morgan points out, correctly, as I understand it, the world “peoplekind”
does not exist. Or better, it did not exist until now. Will Canadian
schoolchildren now be banned by using any word that suggests the dreaded manliness?
Will variations on "people" and "person" be trotted out as substitutes? And will
schoolchildren fail if they use the wrong neologism?
While we are out there mutilating the language, I believe
that we should make a few more changes. From now on women of a certain age will
go through personopause… that signaling the end of their personstruation.
You certainly would not want such activities to be corrupted
by the least hint of anything male.

Ahhh, Justin from Canada. At it again.
You’ll have to forgive him. English is not his first language. Knowing his father’s take on the divisive Canadian language issues (made infinitely worse by the Québécois’ never-ending insistence on more, more, more), “peoplekind” probably is an interchangeable word for the Francophonic point of view.
I’m sure the hearts of many Canadian women fluttered as Justin from Canada intoned his non-inclusive inclusivity.
Plonker, indeed.
Hi IAC, all this is so confusing. The French humanité is far too similar to the English humanity. Which should be hupeoplity. Since the French say peuple, this would leave them with hupeuplité. Fortunately, the French do not regard the word humanité as offensive
Pauvre Justin, he must suffering because of the linguistical depeopleds on this current chief in compeopled....
Isn't it great leaders can say foolish things sometimes?
We haven't had this problem for a while, but thank god we know leaders are human, I mean persons again.
"The philosophy of political correctness ... at its core is a refusal to look the truth squarely in the face, unpalatable as it may be.
Political correctness is about denial, usually in the weasel circumlocutory jargon which distorts and evades and seldom stands up to honest analysis." --George MacDonald Fraser
The boy PM! Voy, eh?

Yep. End the end it just can't beat arithmetics, not from a lack of trying.
Hmmm... is this what trying to "save face" looks like?

"You all know that I don’t necessarily have the best of track records on jokes. I made a dumb joke a few days ago that seems to have gone a little viral… on the 'peoplekind' comment," Trudeau told reporters outside of the Liberal caucus meeting on Parliament Hill Wednesday.
Last week at a town hall event in Edmonton, a woman was asking Trudeau about support for religious charitable organizations and commented that maternal love would change the future of mankind.
This morning, Trudeau said while it "played well" in the room, that "out of context, it doesn't play so well and it’s a little reminder to me that I shouldn’t be making jokes even when I think they’re funny," he said.
-----
I wonder how it was received in the room, and Trudeau can't even necessarily know that, since many people will politely laugh in public.
Did he come across as "aggressive" and "indignant" as Morgan claimed? But perhaps the only person who really matters was the woman who was talking, whom was interrupted. Did the "joke" work for her? Was she offended? (And did she mean men-only in her "mankind" that needs improvement from maternal love?)
But as well, seeing the wide contempt online on a google search headlines, without his lame defense, we might imagine he was trolling the right, who really can't take a joke in their own anti-pc-pc stance, even if his claimed joke might be mocking pc-language they dislike as well.
IAC, I thank you for conditioning your insult on a premise. Myself, I'm open to both interpretations, so I'm not offended.
I see a strawman isn't just a name for a misrepresented argument, but characters in your own mind, controlled by your strings which stand in and replace direct experience and denying an unknown inner experiences of others.
Or as Anaïs Nin said "We don't see things as they are; we see them as we are."
A sense of humor is what I have, while the others, they're just idiots, right?
