Let’s see, President Trump just told universities that if they sit back and allow Jewish students to be harassed by Palestinian activists, they will lose federal funding.
Most Jewish groups hailed the move as a step in the right direction. Clearly, something had to be done about the rising tide of campus anti-Semitism.
Palestinian activists, from the SJP to the BDS movement have happily harassed Jewish students. They have boycotted events featuring Israeli speakers. Universities have sat back and allowed it to happen.
For some background, read Emma Green in the New York Times (via Maggie’s Farm).
Leftist Jewish groups have denounced the Trump executive order for promoting anti-Semitism. Let’s see, you tell universities to crack down on groups that employ Storm Trooper tactics, and you are fostering anti-Semitism. How did these people get their jobs? Or are they complete and total cowards?
Among those who have taken exception to the rule was The New York Times. You remember when there really was a Hitler and when Hitler was persecuting Jews in Europe. The Times had the story and chose not to run it. It reasoned that if it drew attention to the persecution and the massacres, something really bad would happen.
So, now Palestinian activists have adopted Storm Trooper tactics. They harass Jewish speakers on campus. They beat up Jewish and pro-Israeli speakers. They make it impossible for such people to speak in public and to engage in public debate. They call for boycotts of such speakers and try to have teachers fired from the university. Put it all together and you have the Storm Troopers of Ernst Rohm.
After all, it was not too long ago that we had Jeremiah Wright’s protege in the White House. And it was not too long ago that the same Wright was running events with Rev. Louis Farrakhan. It was not too long ago that many Democratic members of Congress boycotted a Congressional speech by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. It was not too long ago that Pres. Obama treated the same prime minister with contempt. And it was not too long ago that black terrorists shot up a Jewish grocery store in Jersey City, NJ. Heck, it reminds us of the moment when some Islamist terrorists shot up a kosher supermarket in Paris and President Obama refused to say that the attack had anything to do with anti-Semitism.
So, now that the Democratic Party has cornered the market in anti-Semitism, Donald Trump has emerged as America’s first Jewish president. I have made the point before, and will make it again here. If Toni Morrison could see Bill Clinton as the first black president, we are well within our rights to see Trump as the first Jewish president.
And we are certainly within our rights again to call out Washington Post columnist and pathetic imbecile, Jennifer Rubin, for suggesting that all members of the Trump Republican Party should be incinerated. Yes indeed, Jennifer Rubin called for a Holocaust… though that would imply that she understood the meaning of the word.
So, good for Trump. Bad for those who believe that harassing Jews, depriving them of their right to speak in open forums, is free speech.

I am Jewish and my family would hate him even if he personally stopped all terrorism in the world.
