Is Joe Biden Senile, Part 2?

Consider this a corrective to the previous post.

There I was opining that no one has been discussing the obvious fact that Joe Biden is suffering from senile dementia. I was not wrong about Biden-- though I await the verdict of qualified neurologists-- but Caitlin Johnstone has noted the phenomenon on at least two occasions. And she is not alone. So, credit to Johnstone, who is not, incidentally, a member of the vast right wing conspiracy.

On Medium yesterday, she wrote this:

It’s been obvious since 2016 that the Dems were going to once again sabotage the only candidate with a chance of beating Trump in favor of a scandalously inappropriate candidate, but wheeling out an actual, literal dementia patient for the role is something not even I would have imagined.

Last September Johnstone transcribed a Biden debate response, in toto. Tell me if you think it was produced by a mentally competent individual:

“Well they have to deal with the — Look, there is institutional segregation in this country. And from the time I got involved I started dealing with that. Redlining. Banks. Making sure that we’re in a position where — Look, talk about education. I propose that what we take is those very poor schools, the Title 1 schools, triple the amount of money we spend from 15 to 45 billion a year. Give every single teacher a raise that equal [closes eyes] raise to getting out — the sixty-thousand dollar level.

“Number two: make sure that we bring into the help the — [closes eyes] the student, the, the teachers deal with the problems that come from home. The problems that come from home. We need — We have one school psychologist for every fifteen hundred kids in America today. It’s crazy. The teachers are reca — Now, I’m married to a teacher. My deceased wife is a teacher. They have every problem coming to them. [Closes eyes briefly] We have make sure that every single child does in fact have three, four, and five year-olds go to school — school, not daycare. School. We bring social workers into homes of parents to help them deal with how to raise their children. It’s not that they don’t wanna help, they don’t want — they don’t know quite what to do. Play the radio, make sure the television, [closes eyes tightly] the — ‘scuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night, the-the-the-the phone, make sure the kids hear words. A kid coming from a very poor school, [closes eyes] a very poor background, will hear four million words fewer spoken by the time they get there.”

And Johnstone also quotes journalist Michael Tracey, who has also argued that Biden seems to be suffering from senile dementia:

As journalist Michael Tracey has been pointing out, what we’re consistently seeing over and over again from the former vice president now are not “gaffes”, but clear signs of cognitive decline. Contrast the difference between Biden’s younger footage and what was seen at the last debate with footage of Bernie Sanders throughout the decades, who has remained virtually identical save for appearance and hoarseness. Age does not account for this difference. Biden’s brain is dying.

She continues:

But what’s really weird and creepy is how few people are discussing the obvious fact that the presidential forerunner is also clearly suffering from the early stages of some kind of dementia. The brain that spouted the gibberish transcribed above would probably score poorly on a basic test for the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease, yet discussion of his inability to complete a coherent sentence is relegated to the margins of political discourse.

Evidently, many Democrats are willing to ignore the obvious:

Many rank-and-file Democrats are so desperate for an end to an administration that is making them increasingly anxious and neurotic that they find it cognitively easier to compartmentalize away from the obvious fact that Biden is in a state of mental decline than to turn and face that reality. So they make excuses and pretend that his demented word salads are perfectly rational, hip references to the resurging popularity of vinyl records.

Johnstone concluded, last September:

As someone who’s never been able to leave elephants in rooms alone, the fact that the leading presidential contender is neurologically incapable of speaking coherently for eighty seconds sticks out like dog’s balls and it’s absolutely freakish that this isn’t front and center of our political discourse right now. Biden’s dementia should be the very first thing we discuss whenever his name comes up, not the last.

Try this as the possible play: Put aside the democrat candidate for President and instead focus on the candidate for Vice President. The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution limits the number of times a person can be ELECTED President to two terms. But if an elected President is unable to complete his term and the amount of time remaining in the term is LESS THAN 2 YEARS, then the Vice President will serve not only the remainder of the term but would be eligible to run for the 2 full terms - in other words, serve up to almost a maximum of 10 years as President. I bet the dems are banking on getting Biden over the finish line this election cycle. Then, when the two-year point is passed, it's only a matter of time before he's given a dignified heave-ho and the Vice President steps-in. At that point, the table will be set for that Vice President to serve approx. 10 years. The key spot on the democratic ticket is not the Presidency, it's the Vice Presidency. Warren is going all-in for that spot.

Joe's OK. He'll be surrounded, SURROUNDED by minders and people who will speak for him
all the correct words he's supposed to be saying.

"Johnstone concluded, last September:" Why is is just now that we're hearing this? Must be a DEMOCRAT plot!!!

Sorry, but some real "gaffes" in those articles linked.

1. BO meant to say "47 states," ??? Nope. He said, "We've been to 57 and have one left to go" -- so obviously, that's not what he meant--unless he thinks we have 48 states.

2."Right-wing trolls" tried to say that? Trolls are people who go to their opposite political page and harass and insult people. The writer doesn't know what a troll is, and thinks it's anyone she/he disagrees with? Heh.

3. Trump is a bully? Well, that's just the left stating their opinion as if it was a fact, again. They constantly mix up opinion and fact, in the hope that we, too, will lose track of what truth is.

4. "low-grade sex pest"? Nope. We said he shows pedo tendencies in his liking to grab -- and esp sniff -- babies and children.

5. "women in the kitchen"? Nope--no "right-wing" people ever said that, either. Dims NEVER get tagged with the "war on women" BS---that's what they try to pin on conservatives.

Other than that, it would be nice if they were sincere about caring for Joe's mental health, but they show by the writing that these people would lie in a heartbeat if it helped them win the election. They just want Bernie, because they think that, as the "intelligencia" (did I spell that right? Anyway, that's how they think of themselves) they would be among those who still get special privileges, while the rest of us are made "equal."

It can be interesting to see how the left (Bernie people) think, but I don't put much stock in the truth of their writings. They were never upset when these people were impeaching PDT for being an "asset" -- it's just when they start to shove Bernie aside that they begin writing these "Aren't I brave to tell the truth about the dims" stories.
