When Italians Do Not Follow the Rules

By the best reasoning available, Italy is suffering a larger share of coronavirus infections because its people are averse to following rules. Italians have a rebellious streak, so they defy the orders to stay inside, to shelter in place, to hunker down.

Now, to prove the point, we have this clip, via The Guardian, of a series of Italian mayors trying vainly to persuade their fellow citizens to heed the order.
