Transgender Boy/Girl Changes His/Her Mind

Ever since they started researching the question, scientists have known that roughly three-quarters of children who believe themselves to be transgendered eventually change their minds. Usually, they do so around puberty.

This information has not stopped medical zealots and irresponsible parents from taking a child’s word about his or her gender as gospel truth. Worse yet, parents and physicians have conspired to abuse the bodies of these children by shooting them up with puberty blocking hormones. About that, no one seems much to care.

Herewith, from Australia, the story of one Patrick Mitchell, a boy who decided he was a girl but who then changed his mind. Today, he is transitioning back to boydom. (via Maggie’s Farm)

The story shows how a confused boy can be manipulated by the media into thinking that he is what he thinks he is. We note, in passing, that young Patrick does not seem to have a father. Does his childhood wish to be a girl have anything to do with the fact that he was conceived through parthenogenesis… sort of.

Anyway, the New York Post reports:

Patrick Mitchell just wanted to change everything about himself.

Uncomfortable in his own skin, the young schoolboy felt like he didn’t quite fit.

He was just seven years old when he felt like he first heard the phrase “trans.”

It was the start of an emotional journey which, five years later, would see him diagnosed with gender dysphoria, and beg his mother to let him transition into a girl.

“You wish you could just change everything about you, you just see any girl and you say ‘I’d kill to be like that,’” Patrick tells reporter Ross Coulthart in an interview to air on Australia’s version of “60 Minutes” on Sunday night.

Again, not a word about whether he’d also kill to be like his mother.

After he begged his mother to let him transition, she found a physician who diagnosed him with gender dysphoria. And his mother allowed him to start taking estrogen. Ought we to consider that his mother and the treating physician were guilty of child abuse? Do we know the long term effects of giving a biological male excessive doses of female hormones. The story presents his mother as the mother of the year.

The result of Patrick's mother's politically correct sensitivity is that her child will now be undergoing surgery to undo what she allowed to be done to him. He is now readying himself for his mastectomy.

You see, like most children in these states, Patrick changed his mind:

But two years after taking estrogen hormones and growing his hair long in an effort to address the condition which put him at odds between his biological gender and his own identity, Patrick changed his mind.

He’s stopped taking the hormones, which transformed his body and is preparing for surgery to remove the excess breast tissue to transition back into a boy, Woman’s Day reports.

Patrick was just 12 when he first voiced his mental torture to his family.

It had been five years since he’d first heard the word “trans,” he says “and because I’d always identified with girls thought, well, this makes sense, I probably am a girl.”

Note the influence of a television show and note also the way the television show portrays his mother as wonderfully sensitive. Doesn’t this encourage other mothers to do the same thing? What evidence did his mother have: a big smile on his face. There it is, sufficient evidence to allow a child to be mutilated.

Finally, having seen a television story about transgender people, she gently broached the subject with her son.

“I hadn’t even finished the sentence and he had the biggest smile on his face. I hadn’t seen him smile for months,” she said.

With a doctor’s diagnosis, she gave the go-ahead for Patrick to begin his transformation.

What were the psychological causes of his gender confusion? For one, he had been bullied at school. One suspects that other children bullied him for being effeminate and that he decided that if he was a real girl he would not be bullied for being effeminate:

As his conflict grew — both internally, and externally thanks to hitting puberty and being bullied at school — he’d stay up late at night researching trans people and what could be done to look more like a female.

Why did the other children see him as effeminate? Perhaps because he was. We also note that he had understood that physicians could transform him into a girl. If he had not received that information from the media would the idea ever have crossed his mind:

“When he was young he would dress up in girls’ clothes and at one stage he did say to me could he be taken to the doctor to be made into a girl,” she said.

But at the start of this year, when teachers started referring to him as a girl, Patrick started feeling different.

“I began to realize I was actually comfortable in my body. Every day I just felt better,” he says.

He again turned to his supportive mum.

“He looked me in the eye and said ‘I’m just not sure that I am a girl,’” Alison says.

Juiced up with estrogen, growing breasts, Patrick started feeling  more like a boy. Huh? So he turned to the “supportive mum” who had allowed it all to happen. Such are the real world effects of our culture’s mania about transgenderism.

Keep in mind, you are reading propaganda. The story tells us that the teachers started calling him a girl. What did the other boys in the school say? How did they react? The story does not report on it. It also says nothing about how the other girls treated him once he started transitioning. Did they accept him as another one of the girls? How did they react to seeing him in the girls locker room or the girls rest room. Wouldn't this information also have been pertinent? Would it not have helped us to understand what his mother and his physician had subjected him to?

Do you have a reference for that three quarters figure you give in the first paragraph?

I believe it, but I'd like to be able to defend it if I shared this post with others.

Absolutely... btw, do you have any information about the reaction in Australia to the TV show?

This is total BS, should have been settled on the playground. A kid like that would be thrashed once or three times and maybe run up the flagpole by his belt loops. That would cure any of this deviance.

On the other hand, if "pubertal suppression" is actually a thing, civilisation is doomed.

I have not heard or seen anything else on it apart from on the internet. I saw a post, with pictures, that said the boy was Jewish, but I don't know if that's true or not.

Put this in context with the two education posts.

IMHO much of the problem lies in even introducing the idea of questioning one's gender at such a young age.

Then questions come from others, "oh, you like dressing like a girl?" Maybe we should look into this!, says the parent with Munshausen's [no idea how to spell it] by Proxy tendencies and no life. Kid gets "positive" attention from parent, parent gets SJW points and is suddenly "popular."

It should be a crime to do this to children.
