BLM 's Revolutionary Violence

As you know by now, a Black Lives Matter activist, by the name of Quintez Brown, attempted to assassinate a Jewish Democratic mayoral candidate in Louisville, Kentucky. Fortunately, he missed.

Then, the local BLM movement raised the money to release Brown on bail. One wonders why the bail was not higher or why there even was bail, but clearly BLM was defending one of their own.

As for why this happened, the answer is simple. The sequences shows the true face of Black Lives Matter. The movement is a violent extremist rebellion against America. It especially promotes attacks against people who are perceived to have overachieved.

The movement has targeted Jews in Brooklyn, among other places, but BLM’s revolutionary wrath in New York City has most often been directed against Asians.

Ed Morrissey reports for Hot Air. He gives special credit to Lester Holt of NBC for reporting the story. He notes that no other mainstream outlet has exposed the ugly truth about BLM.

Kudos to NBC News, which not only covered the bail release for Quintez Brown but also noted Brown’s appearance on MSNBC as well. As Media Research Center’s Nicholas Fondacaro points out, the other two broadcast networks barely mentioned the case at all, and left out how Brown got his bail money. ABC danced around BLM’s connection to the bail funding and the nature of Brown’s activism, while CBS didn’t cover it at all.

Not only did Lester Holt call out Black Lives Matter for raising the money for an accused political assassin, he featured the attempted targeted, Craig Greenberg, who then blasted “bail reform” for violent suspects….

As for why America’s blue cities are awash in crime, the answer pops off the page. Leftist prosecutors see crime as a just rebellion against white supremacy and against America.

The Washington Free Beacon has the story of the bail fund:

The bail fund, for example, has an active page on ActBlue, the political fundraising platform used universally by Democratic candidates across the country. Justice Democrats—a far-left PAC that supports Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) and Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.)—also actively fundraises for the bail group on the platform. Contributions sent to the Louisville Community Bail Fund through ActBlue are routed through the Tides Center, a liberal dark money behemoth that has received millions of dollars from Soros. Tides gave nearly $740,000 to the bail fund in 2020, tax filings show.

The Louisville Community Bail Fund’s presence on the Democratic Party’s leading fundraising platform undercuts party leaders’ repeated denials of being soft on crime. The Democratic National Committee used ActBlue to rake in nearly $500 million in 2020, the same year Vice President Kamala Harris used the platform to promote a similar bail fund that freed an alleged domestic abuser weeks before he was arrested again for murder.

ActBlue, Justice Democrats, and the Tides Center did not return requests for comment.

So, consider Quintez Brown part of a revolutionary vanguard. By their twisted reasoning a political assassin is not a political assassin when his intended victim represents white privilege.

The American media, yet again, will yawn:

Will American media outlets show as much interest in the fundraising that allowed an attempted political assassin out on bail as they did in the fundraising that supported peaceful protests in Canada? And will the same media outlets that consider horn-honking a form of violence, and especially those who blame Republican campaign rhetoric for unrelated violence, apply that standard to BLM and Democratic fundraising orgs now that they have bailed out an attempted political assassin?

Almost certainly not, of course, but that doesn’t mean that those questions will go away.

As I keep saying, the media and the Democrats are in cahoots, and sleep in the same beds.
