The Pronoun Wars and Free Speech

You are probably not surprised. Here is yet another battle in the war against free speech. In Wisconsin three middle school children have been charged with sexual harassment for calling a classmate by the wrong pronoun.

We have already seen parents, in Canada, jailed for not using a child’s preferred pronouns, so we should not be overly shocked.

But here in Wisconsin, thirteen year old children are having their right to free speech abridged by the thought police. And they are being charged with sexual harassment.

Because you know, when a transitioning child is starting on puberty blocking hormones, when he is subjecting his body to biochemical mutilation, his biggest problem is that some other child refused to call him “they.”

To be fair, I cannot tell, from the New York Post story, whether the transitioning child is male or female or both or neither.

Anyway, the classmates are being charged with-- you guessed it-- sexual harassment.

Seriously, this is Joe Biden’s America. After all, the Biden administration, led by one Richard, or should it be Rachel, Levine has declared that the science is settled, so, why not prosecute those who misspeak. As you know, and as we will report later, countries around the world are seeing through the transgender ruse and are stopping these treatments. Now, we must put an end to the madness about pronouns, and to the promiscuous overuse of a term like sexual harassment.

At some point, the words no longer mean anything, which, I imagine is the point. It's all about the thought crimes, don't you think?

Anyway, here is the New York Post report:

A Wisconsin school district has filed sexual harassment complaints against three middle schoolers for calling a classmate by a wrong pronoun.

The school district in Kiel, a city of 3,600 residents, has charged the three eighth-graders at the Kiel Middle School with sexual harassment after an incident in April in which the students refused to use “they” to refer to a classmate who had switched pronouns a month before the alleged incident, according to reports.

“I received a phone call from the principal …forewarning me, letting me know that I was going to be receiving an email with sexual harassment allegations against my son,” said Rosemary Rabidoux, whose 13-year-old son Braden is one of the students charged with sexual harassment.

“I immediately went into shock,” she continued in an interview with FOX 11. “I’m thinking sexual harassment? That’s rape, that’s inappropriate touching, that’s incest. What has my son done?”

Another story, from a local news source, explains the nature of the harassment:

Rabidoux’s 13-year-old son Braden is one of the three eighth-grade Kiel Middle School students accused of sexual harassment — something she disputes.

“(The investigating principal) said he’s being allegedly charged with sexual harassment for not using proper pronouns,” said Rabidoux. “I thought it wasn’t real! I thought this has got to be a gag, a joke — one has nothing to do with the other.”

According to the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL), now defending the accused students, in March, one of their peers announced the pronouns they'd prefer to be addressed as — they/them.

One of the alleged incidents Braden and the others were supposedly involved in happened in late April.

“She had been screaming at one of Braden’s friends to use proper pronouns, calling him profanity, and this friend is very soft-spoken, and kind of just sunk down into his chair,” Rabidoux explained. “Braden finally came up, defending him, saying ‘He doesn’t have to use proper pronouns, it’s his constitutional right to not use, you can’t make him say things.’”

What a quaint notion: constitutional rights. A thirteen-year old gets it. School administrators, totalitarian despots that they have become, do not.

It's a girl.

“She had been screaming at one of Braden’s friends to use proper pronouns,

I'm a bit confused. The school says they are disciplining the thought criminals because of Title IX of the Civil Rights Act but Title IX regulates the action of schools, not students.

Free speech moderators should ban this comment like so many times before!
