She Has Had Enough Therapy

Back in the day you may have heard of this. Fair enough. Roc stars like Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys spent most of their leisure time in therapy. They had their therapists move into with them.  Good luck if you can afford it.

One hastens to add that French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan also offered his patients multiple sessions, but at least those were closer to two minutes than an hour—thus allowing his patients  more time for themselves.

Yesterday we learned that famed chanteuse Adele has returned therapy, five times a week. Since I do not believe that they extra time is going to benefit her psyche, I must assume that she was looking to disembarrass herself of the massive amounts of money she has been making.

Among the reasons for her reversion to therapy, Adele suggests that the failure of her marriage accounts for her five-days-a week habit.

And then there is her fear of being exposed in public.

The Skyfall” singer said that she started going back to therapy in an effort to hold herself accountable for the things that she would say.

It was about these shows. I always get so emotional. I love making music, but there is something about performing live that actually terrifies me and fills me with dread,”

Fair enough, but how many therapists do you know who have five free hours her per day, even if he can give them to Adele?

If anything, I would suggest that she has already had enough therapy and that she should start taking off the training wheels.

Can you therapy your way out of bi-polar? If you have never had to deal with a severely bi-polar person during one of their episodes you might think that you could. But if you are familiar with bi-polar people you quickly realize that you literally cannot help them and any effort to help them makes them worse.

There is an interesting fact; bi-polar women can continue to act out and essentially survive. Worst case is they can seduce a man into taking care of them. Men who are bi-polar cannot and are forced to make an effort to control their outburst and actions so that they can work and support themselves.
