Democrats have been agonizing over how they could possibly have lost so badly to Donald Trump. They have figured out that a Trump ad about gender reassignment surgery tipped the scale definitively in Trump’s favor.
Since young Kamala supported taxpayer funded reassignment surgery for inmates and illegal aliens, the public chose not to put her in the White House. In a democracy that is their right.
Worse yet, when the Trump ad made a mockery of her concerns, she had no response. The ad in question also mocked the current mania about pronouns, to the point that young AOC, a little leftist twerp, removed her pronouns from her Twitter account. The indignity of it all. Surely, she read the writing on the wall, and in the election results.
As though the issue had not been decided, when the state of Delaware elected a transgender Congressman, by name of Tim or Sarah McBride, South Carolina Congresswoman, Nancy Mace recommended that McBride and others of her ilk not be allowed to avail themselves of restrooms and locker rooms that were designated for women. The presence of male genitalia would be disqualifying.
Cue the outrage. Cue the attacks on Mace for being a bigot, for singling out one person for special attention. Since members of Congress-- those with or without said questionable members-- already had private facilities, wasn’t Mace just being a bigot?
And this must be true, even if she has fully supported gay rights and even gay marriage.
Unfortunately, the one has nothing to do with the other. Whether certain individuals can marry is not equivalent to mutilating children and poisoning them for life with cross sex hormones. One must note that child mutilation is now a multi-billion dollar business.
Dare we mention two salient points. Mace explained that the presence of male members in women’s private spaces was threatening. In the era of #MeToo everyone would have agreed. The symbolism was so obvious that everyone should have understood it, without explanation.
Why do so few people on the #MeToo side of the political divide care about the traumas suffered by the young women who have been forced to share their locker and changing rooms with males?
When it comes to transgender adults, let us be clear about the issue here. In the past, psychiatry considered transgenderism a delusional belief. There is no real and objective basis for the belief.
If you embrace a delusional belief about your gender, other people are not obliged to acquiesce. You do not have the right to force them to believe something that is objectively untrue. If that is your goal, then your method must be tyrannical.
In the case of body dysmorphia, where, for example, a man declares that his left leg is considerably longer than his right leg and that it must be amputated above the knee, lest he commit suicide, we are dealing with a delusional belief. Such cases are real; I did not make that up.
As for the belief that the distress you feel, because you have suffered the after-effects of biochemical poisoning and surgical mutilation, results from the fact that the world does not accept you as you believe you are, and that you would feel better if everyone used the right pronouns-- that is positively delusional.
The issue is not recognizing the existence of transmania. The issue is producing it. Significant segments of the population, whether in the medical profession or the school system, are hard at work making your children transgendered. Parents have learned that it is not a good idea to buck the system, so they are horrified in silence. And at the ballot box.
Wesley Yang summarizes the trans program on Twitter:
We are witnessing the fruits of a decade of propaganda and gaslighting, of emotionally disturbed young people being encouraged to identify into transgenderism and being told that any refusal of their demands (to be chemically castrated, to be put on cross-sex hormones, to have the ultimate sexual violence inflicted on themselves) is a form of genocidal oppression to which violent reprisal is justified.
So, we have an industry, not dedicated to healing, but to producing transgendered people. It is taking place in the school system where children are taught that gender is just another lifestyle choice and that they can take the steps toward transition without informing their parents.
Classroom time is taken up with the lesson. This renders the mania acceptable. Children are taught that they can change their gender by changing their minds.
Parents are seriously disturbed by this trend. They do not want to have to deal with a child who decides, with the full support of the school system, that they can change genders. And that if parents do not approve, they can be removed from the family home.
So, obviously, the Mace kerfuffle goes well beyond the issue of restrooms, and even the issue of competing in sports. The problem is that we are debating such issues. It’s a sign of a deranged mind.

Lost amid the controversy is that Tim McBride has agreed to abide by Nancy Mace's proposed rule. He may be a little warped, but not stupid. No one gets to Congress that way, and he certainly understands that as a freshman it's best not to make waves and enemies unnecessarily.
