Wunderkind statistician Nate Silver, the man who has earned
a reputation for being the most accurate prognosticator of elections has just
offered his latest prediction of Tuesday’s Senate races.
It comes to us from his FiveThirtyEight blog, at ESPN.
Republicans
have a 73.0%chance of winning a majority.
Democrats
have a 27.0%chance of keeping the majority.
There
is a 21.9% chance Republicans will control 52 seats
and Democrats will control 48 seats.
If you follow the link and examine the graph that accompanies the forecast you
will see that over the past few days the forecast shows that the election has
been breaking toward Republican candidates.
As much as we are all interested in the outcome of the
elections, some of us will be wondering whether Nate Silver has again called it
correctly.

Well, we will wonder until all the results are in, and then we'll know.
