That Shrinking Male Organ

What is this story doing on a blog about therapy? Easy… it’s about head shrinking.

Not in the literal and primitive sense but in the sense of the war against manliness. Or better, the war against one’s male organ. Evidently, it's a correlate of the war against guns.

Researchers in Italy have discovered that a certain chemical, commonly found in nonstick pans and fast-food wrappers, tends to accumulate in the male body… causing one’s male organ to shrink.

The New York Post has the compelling story:

Fry pans might be having a negative effect on your sausage.

A new study found that a chemical commonly found on nonstick pans and fast-food wrappers may have a significant impact on endowment — and can result in smaller schlongs.

The research, which took place in Italy, found that those who had been exposed to perfluoroalkyl compounds, also referred to as PFCs, had significantly smaller eggplants than those who hadn’t, as well as lower semen quality.

PFCs are chemicals commonly used as water and oil repellents in cookware and textiles. According to the study, published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, adult males are more likely to accumulate the chemical in their body for an unknown reason, meaning the chemical could have a larger effect on them than another population.

It’s another front in the war on men!

Time for cast iron cookware makers to start using this study in their advertising. Imagine the possible tag lines! "9 out of 10 male chefs prefer Lodge cast iron cookware. The 10th has a small rodney."

I'm wondering who did the measurements.
