"Hostage Takers"

In my last post I opined on how Barack Obama's image was created by Frank Rich and other media genies, and why many of them are now enraged that he is not doing their bidding.

I also mentioned that Rich has now decided that the Obama as Savior narrative is not working very well, so he has recast Obama in a hostage narrative, with Republicans as his implacable captors.

It was a hypothesis, subject to verification.

This afternoon, not too many minutes after I put up the post, Barack Obama did a press conference in which he accused the Republicans of being: “hostage takers.”

Now you know who writes Obama’s material. Or, should I say, who is the mind behind the throne, the drama critic behind the philosopher king.

Feeling better?

RE: 'Hostage Takers'??!??!

I just came out of a city government staff meeting in which we were informed that last month the EPA released guidelines—which had not been processed through state-level review—that will, for all intents and purposes bring construction by anyone except for the largest construction and development activities to a complete stop. At least that's the way it looks at first reading. LOTS of 'regulations' that are going to cost tens of thousands of dollars to observe. When the briefer was questioned about how the contractors and developers were responding to the new 'guidelines', the reply was, "They're horrified."

Obama is practicing 'Rule by Decree' through the various administrative agencies. And the REAL hostage is everyone in America.

Regards,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. With government as big as it is the chances for doing mischief and causing trouble abound.

And people are wondering why the economic recovery continues to be anemic.
