The Enemies of Mideast Peace

The Abraham Accords, a treaty normalizing relations between Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain elicited some rather strange reactions.

The Gatestone Institute reports the reaction around the Arab world:

A growing number of Arabs, particularly those living in the Gulf, say they finally understand that Israel is not the enemy of the Muslims and Arabs. This change of heart manifested even before the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain signed peace agreements with Israel during a ceremony at the White House on September 15.

And,

Until recently, for most Arabs, the terms peace and normalization (with Israel) were associated with extremely negative connotations: humiliation, submission, defeat and shame. No longer. Many Arabs are openly talking about their desire for peace with Israel. These Arabs are saying that they are looking forward to reaping the fruits of peace with Israel and that it is time that Arab countries prioritize their own interests.

Of course, certain political forces were appalled by the agreement. Hamas fired rockets into Israel from Gaza. Obviously Iran and Turkey were seriously unhappy. But, so were Congressional Democrats, former Obama administration officials, Black Live Matters supporters and members of the Boycott Divest Sanction movement.

The international left, led by the American Democratic Party, is restoring the Obama legacy by taking the side of the Palestinians. The reason that the Palestinians are so intransigent is simple: they have support from the left.

Caroline Glick reported:

Tuesday, supporters of BDS who demonstrated outside the White House hailed from fifty anti-Israel groups that span the spectrum from the Marxist left, to the anti-Zionist, self-hating Jewish left, to Fatah and Hamas front groups.

The icy coverage the historic ceremony at the White House received from the liberal media in the US and from the European media made clear that the Western side of the Red-Green alliance isn't interested in Middle East peace and stability. And the fact that neither senior Democrats like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, nor representatives from any EU member nation aside from Hungary attended the ceremony underscores this reality still more. With or without Israel-Arab peace, under the Red-Green alliance, all aspects of the war against Israel will continue unabated.

Fair enough, Joe Biden managed to pay lip service to the accords. But, in truth, Biden will say anything to get elected. He is the leader of the Democratic Party, so, if his words had meant something, Democratic politicians would have showed up at the White House for the signing ceremony.

They did not. So, Biden remains the emptiest of empty suits.

And the Jews in the US will still vote for the Democratic Party. I wonder what the final % will be. 71% in 2016. 2020?

The greatest series of achievements in the history of American diplomacy in support of Israel. This changes everything and brings recognition and peace to Israel in a long-term framework with the Sunni Arab world. The 3 'No's" are defunct. It's a stunning transformation of the region and a repudiation of the intransigent hatreds of the past. Saudi Arabia is next, a gift right before the election. I can barely believe this.

And the Jews will vote in overwhelming numbers against the man who brought it about.
That will also never be forgotten. The right word is ingrate. Times 100.

I'm hearing that Mohammed bin Salman is working to bring Shia Islam back into the fold as well; to declare Shia Islam as an official and legitimate branch of Islam. Think about that. The right horse won in the Saudi power struggle so far. Maybe the tipping point was executing that traitor and subversive, Khashoggi.

MAGA. Even frog Twitter is calling Kushner based.

“Mideast peace“ is a rampant macro-political distraction — it’s a favorite of the globalist economic agenda. Lots of nonsense, trillions of syllables expended in nifty Swiss hamlets. Always has been. The “Palestinians” are a cause celebré. No American really cares. It’s an idealistic waste of time for Foggy Bottom and journalistic elites who like to play parlor games. It’s all part of the Lefty “world peace” crowd few Americans care about. They give awards to each other, while the median American standard of living declines.
