The Chicago Shooting Gallery

It was Father’s Day Weekend in Chicago. Guess what. The city has become a shooting gallery.

Over the weekend, by the latest statistics, 99 people were shot. 12 people were killed, including 5 children.

What can we say, except that Black Lives Matter.

7:22 AM CST update: I just heard, while listening to morning news on the Chicago radio station 105.9 FM, 100 people shot, 14 killed, including five children. Fathers are not fungible!

I have little doubt it was fathers doing most, if not all, the killing. The voters of Chicago got what they voted for. Good for them. Democracy works. Speaking personally, if they're looking for a sympathetic ear, keep looking.

Black lives should matter, but it surely doesn't appear to be so.

Black lives will never matter as long as Black lives are unimportant to Blacks. The vast majority of Blacks killed are killed by other Blacks. Sadly, it is much easier to blame everyone and everything on others. The word is being responsible for one's actions. How many times can one vote democrat and not notice that nothing really happens, especially after an election is over?

As long as the right people were targeted, and the right people hit, I'm fine. Unfortunately, they tend to be poor shots.
